1. OWNERSHIP

The KURAI platform (“Platform”), including all content, software, source code, object code, algorithms, AI models, training data, databases, curriculum materials, educational content, lesson explanations, practice questions, design elements, graphics, interfaces, and documentation (collectively, the “Platform Materials”), is the exclusive proprietary property of Arson Pixelz (Private) Limited (“Arson Pixelz”), a company incorporated under the Companies and Other Business Entities Act [Chapter 24:31] of Zimbabwe (Registration Number: 82248A0122026).

The Platform Materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws of Zimbabwe, including the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act [Chapter 26:05] of Zimbabwe, and by applicable international intellectual property treaties to which Zimbabwe is a party, including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.

2. WHAT THE PLATFORM MATERIALS INCLUDE

The following are examples of Platform Materials protected by this Copyright Notice (this list is not exhaustive):

(a) The KURAI software platform, including all front-end and back-end code, APIs, and system architecture.

(b) AI model configurations, system prompts, fine-tuning data, and AI output formats developed by or for Arson Pixelz.

(c) ZIMSEC-aligned educational content, including subject explanations, worked examples, practice questions, topic summaries, and assessment materials created or commissioned by Arson Pixelz.

(d) The KURAI name, brand identity, logos, colour schemes, visual design, and all associated graphical elements.

(e) Marketing materials, website content, reports, and documentation produced by Arson Pixelz.

(f) Policy documents, terms, and notices published by Arson Pixelz in respect of the Platform.

3. WHAT YOU MAY DO — USER LICENCE

Subject to your compliance with the KURAI Terms of Service, Arson Pixelz grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

(a) access and use the Platform through your personal account for your own lawful educational purposes; and

(b) view and print individual AI-generated responses and educational materials accessed through the Platform, solely for your personal, non-commercial study.

No other rights are granted. This licence does not include any right to sublicense, sell, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, translate, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any Platform Materials.

4. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

You must not, without the prior written consent of Arson Pixelz:

(a) copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any Platform Materials for any public or commercial purpose;

(b) remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice on or within the Platform;

(c) reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of any software forming part of the Platform;

(d) frame or mirror any part of the Platform without Arson Pixelz’s express written authorisation; or

(e) use any Platform Materials for any purpose that competes with or is adverse to Arson Pixelz’s business.

5. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Certain materials available through the Platform may incorporate or reference third-party content protected by the intellectual property rights of those third parties (for example, ZIMSEC syllabus documents or published textbook excerpts used for illustrative purposes). Arson Pixelz respects those rights and uses such material only under appropriate licence or as permitted by law (including fair dealing provisions). Any rights not expressly granted in relation to third-party content remain with the original rights holders.

6. REPORTING INFRINGEMENT

If you believe that any content available through the Platform infringes your copyright or the copyright of a third party, please notify us in writing at privacy@arsonpixelz.com with: your full name and contact details; a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material; a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

We will investigate all valid notices promptly and take appropriate action.

7. ENFORCEMENT

Arson Pixelz reserves the right to enforce its intellectual property rights to the full extent permitted by law, including seeking injunctive relief, damages, and any other remedy available under the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act [Chapter 26:05] of Zimbabwe and applicable international law.
